After 3 weeks holiday, it was time to get back to work! Very tiring day and tried to control myself not to make any mistakes for the day... really blurrrrr..
Before lunch time was busy with checking emails and try to get all the pending works done. I didnt have early lunch today as helped out coll in figuring out the MelonMail for eNewsletter. I had left over indian rice and curry and due to the strong smell and i decided to walked down level 1's pantry. Enjoyed the meal and time to do washing! I took my rings out as Swarovski jewellery was not supposed to touch with water etc.. Finished cleaning and turn around to get kitchen towel to dry up the container... and then turn my head around and walked back to my desk to finish up a new job!
I can't work any longer when the time reached 4pm and decided to leave on time although the first day back to work.. nearly had accident as a lady drove out to main road as she didnt realise i had cut the lane and was towards her direction. I couldnt stop and she nearly bang on the left side of my car.. scared me.... lucky thing she didnt speed, otherwise.. accident will be happened!
Finally got home safely and trying to undress the formal ones.. OHH.. where was my rings????? Now only realised i left it at the sink... forgot to wear it back after cleaned up the container!!!! I then rang up colleague see if she still there, no luck! then have to go online to search Finance staff's number, ask them to do me a favor if can find my rings at the pantry.. Andrea was answering the phone and she went to have a look and she couldnt find it... well the last hope will be at reception desk.. normally all the lost stuffs will be passed to reception!
Today got to work as early as usual and continued with my newsletter. My computer has been restarted and all my unsaved works were GONE!!!!!!!!!!!! I have to redo everything again! What to do!!! Really bad luck.. until 8.45am, my work phone rung... It was a call from Andrea and she said "Good news Sum Sum! I have your rings with me! There was a casual staff picked up my rings and passed it to Janine (Finance Manager)"... Well lucky me!!! I was then excited and ran down to level 1 and got back my lovely rings.. Phew..!
Imagine if that's my engagement ring, do you think i still get it back? Maybe though.. cos this is Australia.. LOL...
