I think we were @ the wrong spot for fireworks! Apparently the city council has decided to have fireworks from buildings around the CBD. Therefore from this view closed to the bridge, we were just able to see the fireworks from the buildings, but not on the river! Yarra Park and Southbank/Docklands have had the beautiful views for the new year fireworks. No matter what.. the rain and thunderstorm didn't really stop Melbournian from the NY celebrations!!!!!!!!! :)
