If anyone of you are interested in getting Apple iphone on 11 July, you may register yourself on Optus iphone, put $100 deposit (or $50 deposit if you're already an Optus user). This gives you the 2 hours priority purchase on the launch day @ the nearest Optus World shop. No doubt whether you purchase the handset, your deposit will be credited back to the same credit card that the payment has been made.
There's 8GB (US$199) and 16GB(US$299) iphone. Estimated price in AUD will be 20-30% more than the US pricing. Hopefully not over A$400 for the 16GB. I did pre-order the iphone (but no guarantee to get the handset on the launch day)... I will determine whether i should get one depending on the iphone selling price. :)
11 July is falls on Friday.. does it means i have to take half day off for the day??? lol...
